We will exceed our own limits, reaching 4,600 meters above sea level to Arrive at the Salkantay pass where we will be able to feel the magnitude of this important snow-capped peak, which is the second highest in height in the entire Cusco region. We will continue our trip by car until we reach the hydroelectric sector to walk along the train track until we reach the town of Aguas Calientes to finally see the sacred Machu Picchu.
Day 1: CUSCO – MOLLEPATA – SORAYPAMPA
We start at 5 in the morning picking you up from your hotel to make a 2-hour trip in our mobility until we reach the town of Mollepata where we will have a brief stop to have breakfast if you wish and also do some of the baths, then we will continue for an hour. of trip until Soraypampa that is the beginning of the walk.
After organizing our duffel bags, we will take our backpacks and begin the ascent to the Humantay lagoon. This walk will last approximately 2 hours, most of the way being uphill. Once there, we will appreciate this gift of nature and have time to rest and listen to the explanation of our guide.
We will return by the same path to Soraypampa where we will have lunch and spend the rest of the afternoon in the place to acclimatize for our second day.
Day 2: SORAYPAMPA – SALKANTAY PASS – CHAULLAY

We will descend to the Salkantay valley in a descent that will take us approximately 5 hours, this descent in many sections of the path is technical, therefore good walking poles will be ideal to make the path more bearable, already in Chaullay we will be able to enjoy a dinner and be able to rest until the next day.
Day 3: CHAULLAY – SANTA TERESA – HYDOELECTRIC – AGUAS CALIENTES
After our breakfast we will board our transport that will take us for a 3-hour trip to the hydroelectric sector to start our walk to Aguas Calientes, this part of the road is quite simple since we will only follow part of what is the railway that reaches the town Being mostly flat terrain that will not be very tiring for us, it is important to know that this stretch gives us the option of viewing some buildings that belong to Machu Picchu in the vicinity of the road, therefore we recommend you appreciate everything you find at your surroundings.
Already in Aguas Calientes we will settle in a lodging in the area to be able to rest and the next day to visit Machu Picchu.
Day 4: AGUAS CALIENTES – MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO
