Day 1: CUSCO - AGUAS CALIENTES – MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO
To make our visit to Machu Picchu a reality, it is necessary to leave Cusco early, for this reason our driver will pass by your hotel at 5 in the morning to take you to the Ollantaytambo station, which is 1 hour and a half from Cusco to board the train. to take him to the town of Aguas Calientes.
Already at the Ollantaytambo station, the train will be boarded making a trip of 1 hour and 30 minutes, along this route you will see how the flora of the place changes and becomes a much more tropical landscape, in the same way you will be able to observe the beginning of the Inca trail and like many travelers start their trek to Machu Picchu.
As it is a tourist train, you will have the option of using the bathrooms almost as necessary or having a hot drink that the service on board offers.
Already in Aguas Calientes our guide will be waiting for you at the exit of the station to take you to the bus station to make the last journey until you reach the door of the Inca citadel, we recommend you use the bathrooms before entering the Inca city since internally there are none of these services and if you have to leave you will not have the option to re-enter.
Our guide will provide you with all the necessary information during a tour of approximately 2 hours and a half, depending on the type of income that the tour has, it can start in the upper part of the city or the middle or lower part of the city, we recommend you check the difference between each one of these options.
