Trip introduction
If there is something that you should not miss on your visit to Cusco, it is touring the Sacred Valley of the Incas, this famous valley keeps many of the secrets that our guide will reveal little by little and telling you the story of why it is known by this name. Throughout the valley you will have the opportunity to visit the towns of Pisac, Urubamba and Ollantaytambo that have buildings from the Inca period that were made for different purposes. Something to highlight about this valley is the presence of many fields of corn cultivation that in most of them are exported since it is considered that the biggest corn in the world grows here.
The Sacred Valley of the Incas is the gateway to Machu Picchu since the train station that goes to the town of Aguas Calientes is located in Ollantaytambo.

**** If your intention is to continue your trip to Aguas Calientes by boarding the train from the Ollantaytambo station, our guide can leave you at the same station so that you can board your train and do not have to return with the group to Cusco again.
Day 1: CUSCO – PISAC – URUBAMBA – OLLANTAYTAMBO - CHINCHERO – CUSCO
Our service begins at 8 in the morning when our staff will pick you up at your hotel to board our transport that will take us as the first destination to the town of Pisac, which has a rather picturesque craft market that can be visited if you have time, but Pisac also has an archaeological center where you will find the largest pre-colonial cemetery in Peru, our guide will explain each of the details that you will observe throughout the visit.
Our tour will continue following the same direction of the Urubamba river until reaching the city with the same name, it is here where we can enjoy a buffet lunch and experience the flavors and colors of the local cuisine.
Already in the afternoon we will have the privilege of visiting the living Inca city of Ollantaytambo, the reason why it is known in this way is that both its architectural design and the base of the houses are 100% original from Inca times, This link is considered one of the few that were not modified during the Spanish conquest, Ollantaytambo also has an archaeological site that was used as a fortress of the Inca resistance upon the arrival of the conquerors.
On the way back to Cusco we will make a brief stop in the town of Chinchero or also known as the Land of the Rainbow since this phenomenon frequently occurs in its cultivated fields and near its lagoons. Here we will be able to know and understand in a better way what life was like during the pre-colonial era of the ancient Peruvians.
