Our walk to the 7 Ausangate lagoons is an experience that mixes the Andean landscape and the mysticism that even the local people preserve. Ausangate is the highest mountain in the Cusco region and the tour of the 7 lagoons is the shortest option that exists to be close to this snow-capped mountain. Day 1: CUSCO – 7 LAGOONS OF AUSANGATE – CUSCO
Early in the morning from 4:00am. we will pick up our clients from their respective hotels and then at 5 in the morning we will leave the city towards the town of Ocongate and finally arrive at the community of Pacchanta, here we will be able to organize the things that we will take for the walk and in the same way we will take the opportunity to have an American breakfast that gives us the necessary energy to carry out the walk.
The route has a total distance of 10 km. Which are developed in an approximate time of 6 hours in total. At approximately 9 in the morning we will start the hike, the first part of the trail is on relatively flat terrain with no steep ascents, possibly the only complication will be the height at which we are going to hike since we will be over 4500 meters above sea level and the highest point we will reach will be 4800 meters.
