Overview
During 3 days on the Inca Jungle Trail we will be able to experience 3 extreme sports such as biking, zip lining, hiking, to finally reach Aguas Calientes and have the option of visiting Machu Picchu early in the morning with our specialist guide who will accompany us from the beginning. In order to explain each of the details both in the semitropical landscapes of the area where you can appreciate local fruit trees and coffee to the history of the Wonderful Machu Picchu.
Day 1: CUSCO – ABRA MALAGA – SANTA TERESA
We will begin our trip by picking up each of our clients from their respective hotels starting at 6 in the morning to board our van that will take us for a 3-hour trip to the Abra Malaga sector, which has a height of 4,300 meters above sea level. but not before making a stop halfway to make use of the bathrooms and take advantage of having a breakfast on your own.
Once in the Abra Málaga sector, we will start our first programmed activity, which will be the descent by bicycle for approximately a distance of 30 km, which we will do between 2 and 4 hours depending on the pace of our clients until we reach the town of HuamanMarca, along the As we descend, we will see how the climate and the ecosystem of the area change, since we will leave the high Andean mountains to make way for the semitropical zone of the Selva Cusqueña where humidity and heat will predominate.
From HuamanMarca we will continue the trip by car to the town of Santa Maria where we will have the option of having lunch and enjoying the local cuisine of the area.
After lunch and a short rest, we will start our second scheduled activity for the day, it is canoeing on the Urubamba river for approximately 2 hours, we will cross category 3 rapids, obviously all these tours will be led by professional guides in the rafting activity. together with us a professional kayaker to provide us with greater security on the way.Finally we will return to Santa Maria to pick up our backpacks and board the transport that will take us to the town of Santa Teresa, the trip lasts approximately 1 hour and if you still want to enjoy the trip more you will have the option of visiting the thermal water sources from Cocalmayo for about an hour to later have dinner in Santa Teresa and spend the night in a local lodging.
Day 2: SANTA TERESA – AGUAS CALIENTES
We will have a breakfast scheduled for 7 in the morning and then begin our third scheduled activity on our tour, which will be zip-lining through the valleys of the area using cables perfectly secured from end to end, the longest being 1km long with a height of 200 meters, we will cross a total of 5 cables and additionally a suspension bridge to give our activity more excitement.
Once the activity is completed, our transportation will take us to the sector known as hydroelectric, which is the last place where cars arrive. From this area, we will hike for approximately 3 hours along the train track, but not before having lunch in a local restaurant in the area. During the tour in this part through certain sectors of the road, it will be possible to see some constructions of Machu Picchu.
Finally, in the afternoon we will arrive at the town of Aguas Calientes where we will have a scheduled dinner and then rest at a hotel in the area.
Day 3: MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO
After breakfast at the Hotel, our guide will go through your hotel to start our day first boarding the bus that will take us to the main gate of the Inca city where we will pass the control points and begin the visit following the circuit of our preference, not without before taking all the classic photos necessary for our memory of the place. Being a city, the place is quite wide, therefore our visit with our guide will be planned for a 2 to 3-hour tour where our host will show you each of the details for which Machu Picchu is considered one of the new 7 wonders of the world, we will be able to know the main temples, houses, squares and others.
Once our tour is over, we will board the descent bus towards Aguas Calientes where you can have lunch before boarding the return train to Aguas Calientes which is scheduled for 2:55 in the afternoon to the town of Ollantaytambo where our driver will wait for us to bring us back to the city of Cusco arriving at approximately 6:30 p.m.

**Huayna Picchu is an optional walk inside the Citadel of Machu Picchu that does not include a guide. The ascent is usually done on your own after your tour of the Citadel of Machu Picchu. ARRIVAL IN CUSCO
All our services start at the airport of the city of Cusco where our driver will be waiting for the arrival of your flight to be able to drive you to the hotel of your choice, this service has no additional cost.
For which it is necessary that you provide us with your flight details and confirmation 1 or 2 days before your arrival in the city, our staff will be waiting with the Terra Peru Aventuras sign which you have to locate.
THE BRIEFING
The briefing is the information that is provided to our clients prior to a trip, this will be done one night before the selected activity at the hotel of their stay. In general, the schedule will depend on the other activities that you have planned to carry out, but many times it usually takes place between 6 and 7 at night.
HOW CAN I BOOK THE SHORT INCA JUNGLE 3 DAYS TOUR?
To start a reservation, the first thing we request is your personal data along with the details of the date you would like to do the walk, then we will request an advance payment of 40% of the total value of the walk in order to generate the purchase of the necessary tickets for the tour.
After the deposit, our reservation staff will send you the confirmation of the reservation of the Tour which will include the DATE, NAME OF THE TOUR, PERSONAL DATA OF THE CLIENT, AMOUNT DEPOSITED AND AMOUNT PENDING PAYABLE UPON ARRIVAL IN THE CITY.

WHEN DO I MAKE THE FINAL PAYMENT OF THE TOUR?
In general, the total payment must be made upon arrival, we recommend making the payment in cash, due to commission issues from international banks that may be unfavorable to you in case you want to make a payment with your credit card. Our staff gives you more details about it.
CAN I CHANGE THE DEPARTURE DATE AFTER I HAVE PURCHASED THE TICKETS?
For all our tours with the exception of Machu Picchu, Inca Trail, Salkantay, yes! is possible to modify the date without any cost, this must be communicated to our staff as soon as possible in order to carry out the procedures for the modification with a new date.
WHAT HAPPENS WITH ALTITUDE SICKNESS?
Any good experience will depend on a good physical condition, if you practice any physical activity regularly you should not worry about a possible altitude sickness, however as an additional recommendation we suggest acclimatizing, in this sense you should consider spending at least 3 days to do some walk and 1 day to be able to carry out some activity or cultural tour.
There are medications that could achieve better acclimatization, but since we are not doctors, we suggest you drink plenty of water and coca infusions to achieve better acclimatization.
WHEN THE TOUR ENDS, DO YOU TAKE US TO THE HOTEL?
Everything will depend on the style of travel that you chose. Our clients who travel in a private service have the option of ending the tours at their hotel. However, those who opt for a group tour, our tour ends in the Plaza Regocijo or close to it so that you can walk without any worries to your hotel.
