Let’s discover part of the Andes with our Puma alternative adventure trip starting with bikes riding down to Pisac to visit the market. Breath, drink water and walk to the archaeological site with our local guide to explore and stop at the viewpoints for breathtaking photographs. We will continue our journey by exploring Maras – Moray and the Salt Mines on four wheel Quads and having a picnic in the high lands. We will have the opportunity to go to Ollantaytambo to catch the train toward to Aguas Calientes, but Cusco City is also Important, consider the city a living museum and an excellent place to take to our bikes again and visit some local places to learn more about Andean people.

DAY 1: CUSCO – ACCLIMATION – FREE DAY
The Puma adventure will begin by one of our Representatives picking you up at the Cusco International Airport and transporting you to your hotel. Please note, the first day is an arrival day in Cusco and no activities are planned because our main goal should be to acclimate to the altitude. We recommend arriving in the morning to have enough time to take a breath.
DAY 2: CYCLING AND HIKING TO PISAC
We will immerse ourselves into the sacred Valley of the Incas, stopping in Corao Pass to jump on our bikes and ride down to the town of Pisac while stopping along the way at different viewpoints to experience the scenery. In the town of Pisac we will have the option to walk into the colorful local market of the town. From here we will start hiking to the beautiful Inca site of Pisac, crossing ancestral farmers Inca terraces. We will have unforgettable experiences while taking in the views of the Urubamba river and sacred valley from the top of this ancient Inca complex. We will finish our day by having a box lunch or picnic near the town of Pisac and finally we will return to Cusco.
DAY 3: ATV QUADS – MARAS – MORAY AND SALT FLATS – AGUAS CALIENTES
We’ll leave Cusco in the morning after Breakfast and make our way through the Chinchero community and then to the town of Maras. Before we start, we’ll have n important safety briefing and training along with provide recommendations to have a great day. Our first stop will be in Moray, our guide will give all the information about this huge complex that looks like a coliseum from the Inka period. We will continue feeling the adrenaline on our ATVs and stop in the salt mines. More than 5000 thousands pools are there drying from the evaporation process to extract the salt. Finally, we will return to our bus to go to Ollantaytambo (lunch ) and take the train toward to Aguas Calientes for the night.
DAY 4: MACHU PICCHU - CUSCO
This is our Day!!! We’ll catch the first bus leaving from Aguas Calientes at 5:30am to Machu Picchu City. After we enter the check point with our guide we’ll walk for 7 or 10 minutes to experience the panoramic view of the city and depending on weather condition we could see the sunrise. We will explore the city for 2 or 3 hours while visiting the most important sectors inside and listening the wealth of historical information from our guide. After the tour you could explore the place on your own. AT the end of the day we will return to Aguas Calientes to catch the train to Cusco.
DAY 5: CYCLING IN CUSCO’S DOWNTOWN
Cusco is considered a living museum. We will take our bikes to explore the city, some of its markets and principal streets. You will learn more about this place that is considered one of the top 10 beautiful cities in the world.
